We have some fantastic news! Political Arena will be going into Early Access on October 22nd, 2024!
What is Early Access?
Early access is a period in a video game’s production when the game isn’t complete but is put on sale once the finished parts stand on their own as a fun and entertaining experience. Early Access provides players the opportunity to play the game earlier than they might have otherwise, help shape its ongoing development and buy it at a discounted price.

What is in Political Arena’s First Early Access? ?
Our first Early Access version is all about Washington’s behind-the-scenes drama. You’ll get the chance to play as any senator or representative in the upcoming 119th Congress – from the House Speaker to the chair of the Appropriations Committee to a lowly freshman trying to make a name for themselves. This will include:
- A kickass character creator – customize your politician’s appearance, views, personality history and, yes, even their flag pin.
- Customize the political world: What’s the partisan breakdown of Congress and the White House? How partisan are politicians? What’s the filibuster threshold (or is there one?). Should there be pork barrel spending?
- Vy for spots on coveted committees.
- Spend your hard won political capital to persuade other lawmakers to support your agenda.
- An in-depth AI: politicians remember favors you’ve done for them, but also promises you’ve made and the times you’ve crossed them.
- Countless in-game events that require you to respond to everything from pressure from special interests to awkward run-ins with your rivals to your interns insisting you partake in a meme you know nothing about.
- Gov’t shutdown mechanics.
- Good ol’ fashioned legislatin’: Draft bills and vote on them (and others’) in committee and your chamber.
- A robust media system that influences which politician – and agenda – is up or down.
